We left work at lunch yesterday bound for Blakely. It is on the way to Destin and we haven't seen Pop and Gran for months. Emma Catherine always has so much fun visiting their house, because she gets to run all over like she owns the place! Pop and Gran just smile and talk to her - and they tell us she talks a lot (maybe too much)! Here she is writing with a pen. It is one of her favorite things to do because mommy doesn't let her write with pens at home.
Emma Catherine LOVES makeup. Maybe it is because I don't let her play in mine or because she is all girl, but here she is at Gran's makeup mirror
I'm pretty sure she couldn't see herself, but I know that isn't the point! It is all about being a big girl!!
She couldn't figure out how to make the lipstick come out of the tube - thank goodness - so she stuck to using/eating Gran's brand new chapstick! 
And this is right after Pop brushed her hair - of course I missed the action shot...
It is so cool to see her get so much love from her great-grandparents!
This morning Pop heard Emma Catherine crying. I had just told her to go back to sleep because it wasn't time to get up. But Pop came to her rescue and scooped her up out of bed to go play at 6AM! Mommy and daddy got to sleep a couple extra hours. Pop was officially Emma Catherine's hero - and ours too! Then Gran cooked a HUGE breakfast and we headed for Destin! Beach pictures to come soon!!
