I wrote this a while back and forgot to post. Oh well! I'll try to do another more up-to-date post soon :)
Who would have thought five years ago we would be where we are now? Definitely not us! Niether of us can get over how incredibly blessed we feel.

I totalled my car a month after we wed. We lost Bo's grandma the next month. We enjoyed our first holidays as a married couple for the few months following that. Then we celebrated Bo's 25th birthday and found out - SURPRISE! - little EC was on the way. And time has flown by ever since!
We celebrated our 5th anniversary with a very low key afternoon and evening together. We watched The Dark Knight Rises at the Atlantic Station theater. After dropping off one vehicle at Tech, we ate dinner at Farm Burger in Decatur. The food was amazing! Then, it was very cool to ride through Tech's campus after dinner on the way to get our car. Everything just continues to change, but there are so many fun memories for us on that campus! It was the perfect afternoon. Just what we needed after the craziness that was the week/weekend/summer months before. There is discussion about doing a big anniversary trip for our 7 year anniversary, but we will see! I really enjoyed how our date turned out :) Here are a couple pictures we took after returning home to an EMPTY house! (Many thanks to Aunt Deb for keeping our girls completely entertained for a few nights!)

We went out twice and ate at the bar both times. It was glorious :) Walking in and not having to wait for a table was a treat. Those newly weds at the top of the post can wait for a table if they want, we parents treated the "no wait" bars seats as a luxury.
